IONIA. Uncertain. Circa 625-600 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 10 mm, 2.19 g), Lydo-Milesian standard. Floral pattern around star of four rays. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Pozzi 2365. SNG von Aulock 1788 (this coin). Extremely rare, one of a very few known examples. A beautifully designed early hekte with a splendid pedigree. Light scratches on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
